Today you will enjoy a guided tour of one of the most beautiful state capitol buildings in the country. The Beaux Arts design building features iconic columns, murals and sculpture. The First Lady Doll collection and changing history and cultural exhibits are also featured. Highlights of a driving tour of Frankfort include the famous Floral Clock, the uniquely designed Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the historic district.

Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill is the largest historic community of its kind in America and is a National Historic Landmark. The Village is a premier living history museum where costumed interpreters chronicle Shaker life. Your guided walking tour includes 14 restored buildings where skilled artisans work at 19th century trades. Demonstrations of historic methods of farming bring the past to life. There are over 25 miles of the signature stone fence on the property which makes up the most extensive display remaining in the Bluegrass.
